A woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
The scene of the incident at Juniper Square, Hemel Hempstead A 29-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of murdering a child. The incident unfolded in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, on Sunday afternoon. Emergency services were called to a ‘medical emergency’ at Juniper Square, just after 4.40pm. The child was taken to hospital, but was pronounced dead shortly afterwards. Hertfordshire Police said: ‘Officers were called to an address in Juniper Square in Hemel Hempstead at 4.
‘A 29 year old woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the incident and an investigation is now underway by the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit. ‘She remains in police custody at this time.’ This is a developing news story, more to follow soon… Check back shortly for further updates.
