Over a decade after his arrest in San Antonio for allegedly taking photos of children in swimsuits at SeaWorld, a Kentucky man has been charged amid similar allegations involving kids at a West Virginia pool. Ronald Thompson , 61, was arrested June 18 on one count of child erotica, according to Wayne County , W.Va. , court records.
In 2011, Thompson was arrested in San Antonio and charged with 26 counts of improper photography after he allegedly took 73 photos of children in swimsuits at SeaWorld. But before his case went to trial, he asserted that the charges violated his First Amendment rights, and a three-judge appeals panel in San Antonio agreed.
