Incidents of the contagious liver infection in Cumbernauld are being investigated by an NHS Public Health Team

Two children are amongst a small number of confirmed cases of the hepatitis A in the Cumbernauld area.

Dr Alison Smith-Palmer, Consultant in Public Health, said: “We are working with the school and the nursery and we are in regular contact with the cases and their families.
