BBC Children in Need was back on Friday night with a three-hour star-studded instalment
BBC Children in Need viewers were left feeling short-changed on Friday evening as the charity show appeared to abruptly cut short Girls Aloud's tribute song featuring the late Sarah Harding.
Adding to the dissatisfaction, another wrote: "That's all I had been waiting for, really disappointed that they cut it so short. #childreninneed #bbcchildreninneed." Despite the frustration, many fans also expressed joy at seeing the tribute, with a loving message from one fan appearing online: "#childreninneed beautiful version of I'll stand by you from @GirlsAloud still miss Sarah so much!"
In recent weeks, a host of celebrities have been pulling out all the stops to fundraise for good causes, including Paddy McGuinness.
