They interrupted the charity show
BBC Children in Need's live broadcast was momentarily interrupted on Friday night as Mel Giedroyc delivered a "breaking news" update. Presenters Ade Adepitan MBE, Mel, Rochelle Humes, Vernon Kay, Chris Ramsey, and Lenny Rush were at the helm of the evening's three-hour special.
The scene then switched to Lenny, positioned at a news desk, where he began the "Pudsey Headlines" with, "Hello, and welcome to the news," followed by his introduction, "And I am Lenny Rush." In recent weeks, numerous celebrities have contributed to charity efforts, including Paddy McGuinness, who was visibly emotional after completing his gruelling 300-mile bike ride from Wales to Scotland. At the end of his journey, Paddy reflected: "Every morning when I woke up everything was aching and it was always dark and cold but I've been saying it for the last few days, when you get on the bike, and you get on the road and everyone comes out it just spurs you on.
