The new field hospital has 580 beds and is situated in north-eastern China's Suifenhe, a prefecture-level city that shares a 27-kilometre (16-mile) border with Russia.
The field hospital in Suifenhe has 580 beds and will be dedicated to isolating patients without symptoms. It comes after the city of 70,000 went into full lockdown last week when restrictions in Wuhan were lifted.
