THE China Coast Guard (CCG) allowed Philippine vessels to push through with their Rotation and Resupply (RoRe) mission and deliver fresh provisions to Filipino military personnel stationed on board BRP Sierra Madre in Ayungin (Second Thomas) Shoal on Tuesday for 'humanitarian' considerations, a spokesman said on Wednesday.

At the same time, Liu Dejun said they granted the Philippine supply ships access to Ren'ai Jiao, which is what China calls Ayungin Shoal, since the vessels did not carry 'illegal building materials for large-scale reinforcement.''Temporary special arrangements have been made for the Philippines to deliver food and other necessary daily necessities to the grounded warship from a humanitarian point of view,' Liu said in a statement posted on the official website of the CCG.

'Notwithstanding attempts by the China Coast Guard and Chinese maritime militia vessels to block, harass and interfere with the supply mission, the Philippine supply ships Unaizah May 1 and Unaizah May 2, escorted by PCG vessels BRP Cabra and BRP Sindangan successfully completed their RoRe mission,' the Task Force said. The NTF-WPS said routine missions to Philippine outposts on various features in the WPS will continue on a regular basis.

Are we at war with China already, or will be very soon? Are we at war with China already, or will be very soon?WELL, going by the statements of three senators, the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) spokesman, very disappointingly of the new defense secretary Gilbert Teodoro Jr. as well as Armed Forces chief Romeo Brawner, and the headlines of the Philippines Daily Inquirer and the Philippine Star, a state of war exists, or will soon exist, between us and China, ever since the Chinese coast guard used water cannons against our PCG vessels.
