China’s Ministry of Commerce has announced sanctions against Boeing and two other defense companies for their arms sales to Taiwan.

China's Ministry of Commerce announced sanctions against Boeing and two other defense companies Monday, May 20, 2024, for arms sales to Taiwan, on the day of Taiwan's presidential inauguration.
In April, China froze assets of General Atomics Aeronautical Systems and General Dynamics Land Systems held within China. General Atomics produces the Predator and Reaper drones used by the U.S. military., though it is unclear what weapons if any the company sells to Taiwan.
