THE municipal council of Kalayaan in Palawan has declared Chinese Ambassador to the Philippines Huang Xilian as persona non grata.
“Sapagkat, sa pahayag ni Ambassador Huang Xilian, Kinatawan ng Embahada ng Tsina, sa Pilipinas, kanyang iginiit na ang resupply mission ay pagwawalang bahala sa paniniwala ng Tsinan a ang teritoryo ay isa sa kanila ay isang kalapastanganan sa pinagtibay na desisyon ng UNCLOS na nagsasaad ng 200NM eksklusibong bahagi ng ekonomiya ng bansa,” the resolution reads.
“We are, therefore, committed to the conduct of another RoRe mission for our personnel and to maintain our presence in Ayungin Shoal.
