A Chinese man involved in an altercation with his compatriots was arrested after patrolling Pasay policemen found out he has a pending warrant of arrest for robbery in Muntilupa City. ManilaBulletin
Col. Froilan Uy, city police chief, said the suspect identified as Xie Jiannan, 25, was arrested at around 8:00 a.m. in front of the Metro Supermarket on Manlunas St. in Barangay 183, Pasay City onpolicemen from Sub-Station 9 in Villamor received a call from a concerned citizen regarding a commotion involving Chinese men.The city police chief said the Chinese men were brought to the police sub-station for verification.
Police later learned from the Warrant and Subpoena Section that Jiannan has a pending warrant of arrest in Muntinlupa City for robbery. Uy said Judge Liezel A. Aquiatan of Muntinlupa Regional Trial Court Branch 205 issued the warrant of arrest against Jiannan on September 17, 2021.
