Former Gilas Pilipinas head coach Chot Reyes has donated his game worn suit to the FIBA Foundation and is now on display at the FIBA House of Basketball in Switzerland.Reyes shared that he was asked to donate one of his notable suit jackets he wore during Gilas campaign in the qualifiers and the 2023 FIBA World Cup.Was asked by FIBA Foundation's Head Curator Miguel Font to donate some personal items I've been wearing through the qualifying windows last year until the WC this year.
The enigmatic mentor, in a separate post, even uploaded a video of him turning over the jacket to then former FIBA president Hamane Niang. Aside from his on-court actions and his famous dribble-drive offense, Reyes’ sideline fashion has caught the attention of fans and bashers alike, even becoming a point of criticism during Gilas’ lackluster campaign in the global showpiece. The suit given to FIBA Foundation, however, was different from the four-bar suit jacket from top designer label Thom Browne which Reyes wore during the stretch of its 1-4 run in the World Cup.
