Following his historic victory on Strictly Come Dancing, comedian Chris McCausland has signed a deal with Penguin to write his memoir, 'My Story'. The book is set for release in autumn 2025.
Chris McCausland is starting 2025 strong after his historic Strictly Come Dancing win. The comedian, 47, became Strictly’s first-ever blind contestant last year and went on to lift the coveted Glitterball Trophy with professional partner Dianne Buswell. Predictions soon rolled in for Chris’s career trajectory, with PR experts seeing pound signs galore in his sparkling future. Now, the Liverpudlian star has revealed his first major project, set for release later this year.
After signing a deal with Penguin, Chris is writing a memoir, which will hit shelves in autumn and be titled My Story. Following the announcement, Chris said: ‘I thought Strictly was terrifying, but my book has a release date, and I haven’t started writing it yet.’ ‘Don’t worry, I’m going to start right now,’ he joked. On what fans can expect, the stand-up star teased: ‘It will be really funny, I promise.’ Reacting to his exciting news, Chris’s followers were keen to congratulate him in the comments. ‘Fantastic! Can’t wait to listen to the audiobook’, commented himmeandthemenagerie. ‘I was definitely waiting for this announcement after recent successes! Looking forward to reading it!’, wrote imogendl.
