The administrator’s appointment comes almost three weeks after damning footage in the Sydney Morning Herald allegedly showed union boss Darren Greenfield being handed $5,000 cash in a suspected kickback deal. This comes as Fair Work Commission head Murray Furlong launched Federal Court proceedings on Friday to give an administrator sweeping powers to overhaul the union’s construction division.
