A Century Of Stories will be recorded for BBC television and radio in the Waterfront Hall on Tuesday 24 September.
This year, the BBC in Northern Ireland is celebrating its centenary. As part of a series of events and activities, Christine Lampard will be returning to host a special BBC gala concert at the Waterfront Hall , supported by Belfast City Council as part of its Belfast 2024 programme.
The Ulster Orchestra will take centre stage, demonstrating its versatility as the BBC's orchestra in Northern Ireland. Tickets for this grand BBC birthday concert are free and can be obtained from the Waterfront Hall website. Christine Lampard shared her excitement: "I am really delighted to be coming back to Belfast to present this fantastic show. This is where it all began for me and my career working for BBC Northern Ireland, and it will be a real pleasure to be part of the BBC's 100th birthday celebrations."
