Christine McGuinness has opened up about her new romance, revealing that her ex-husband Paddy McGuinness is yet to know about the mystery person she's been dating for five months
Christine McGuinness has a new romantic interest, and she's kept them so under wraps that even her ex-husband, Paddy, is in the dark. The 36 year old model and 51 year old TV star announced their separation in June 2022 after 11 years of wedded bliss.
While the pair maintain a closer relationship than most separated couples, and Paddy previously stated they are in no hurry to "get a divorce", Christine is keen to move on with her life and is exploring a new romantic connection with someone who allows her to take a break from "mummy" duties every now and then.
Despite keeping details private from her ex-partner, the model shared some intimate aspects of her life with the news outlet, including the time leading up to her "first-time" dating. She explained how she deliberately stayed away from the dating scene, choosing to focus on self-care and being "celibate" to ensure she was "happy and comfortable" alone.
She emphasised that her reluctance to enter a relationship is not due to commitment issues but rather the "pressure and the time" involved, as her children " have got to come first."
