There will be changes across the country
Christmas, bank holidays, New Year, they all throw out the bin collection dates and with all the extra packaging that the festive season brings it is important to know when our rubbish will be collected. To make life easier, Nottinghamshire Live has put together the rejigged dates that have been released so far by councils across Nottingham and the county.
Green bin and glass bin collections that are due on Monday 2 January, which is the New Year's Day Bank Holiday, will take place instead on New Year's Eve . With an eye of additional packaging, crews will also take one bin bag of side waste along with the first general waste bin collection after Christmas. The bag should be securely tied and presented at the kerbside next to the green bin.
