It's only set to get colder, Glasgow ❄️🥶
The weather has been cold to say the least over the last few weeks and whilst we are not seeing lows of sub zero at present, we could soon see it again very soon.
James Madden, forecaster for Exacta Weather, told GB news: “Temperatures will drop in the run up to Christmas and this could bring the risk of snow to parts of the country, some of which may fall to lower levels. He continued: "The North Atlantic Oscillation is changing to a negative phase, and this could boost the drivers of sustained cold weather. In addition, we could also see a quite major cold spell from a sudden stratospheric warming event developing around mid-January.
“The timing of this is still uncertain and depends on the development of low pressure to the west and high pressure to the east of the country. However, it will turn colder from the north through the Christmas period as Polar air moves across the country.”
