With Daniel unable to support her in her hour of need, Rovers barmaid Daisy turns to Adam Barlow for support. Though Adam understands Daisy’s anger towards Daniel, the solicitor begs to read a recent article Daniel has been working on.As she reads, she breaks down. Having understood how hard it was for Daniel to learn to love again after losing his wife, Daisy realised how devasting the diagnosis must have been for him.As the pair reunite, Daisy tells Daniel how much the article meant to her in a heartbreaking revelation.
Following the burglary, the Barlows are looking for suspects but they be closer to home than the family think.Reflecting on his character Daniel and the upcoming story line, actor Rob Mallard told press: "It's his worst nightmare that it would either happen to him or someone else that he cares about.
However, viewers will have to tune in to find of the identity of the family’s burglar which could be much closer to home than the Barlows ever realise.
