He has a new family now and he should be spending atleast half of Xmas day with you and the baby. I'm thinking cos he is a man after all and they just don't think like us or consider the fact they are being insensitive that he's thinking because your child is quite young that Xmas isn't going to be as exciting or as important to the baby as it is to his older children. I would talk to him about it and tell him how upsetting it is to you. It's not fair only you spend time with the baby and tbh the more I think about it why can't he have his children in the afternoon and bring them to spend time with you both and the baby? His children should understand by now that their mum and dad are no longer together and they should have their own things going on at Xmas time with the kids. I understand maybe the first Xmas they where no longer together he went and spent the day with him but for it to still be going on and him now still doing it even though he's a new family is just strange. It shouldn't be happening anymoreHi, I am sorry but this is so not acceptable. Regardless of having the new baby or not, my question is why does he still want to spend time with his ex all day and play happy families in her home?! i understand the first Christmas as it’s all new and you try to have less impact on the kids but not after that. He should be putting you and you baby first also which he isn’t. Me and my ex husband separated when my lil girl was only 6 months old and my eldest was 5 at the time. We kept Christmas for the first year and that’s it. We alternated Christmas after that as it was only fair. I get that his kids come first, but by them having either morning or afternoon with you guys then it’s fair. He should be involving you both and having the children around at yours. Not him taking himself off to his exes and excluding you both. I so would not be happy with that and if he wont budge after talking then I’d have some serious time to think. I mean how many more years would he potentially do that for while you are together?!
