Out-of-tune 400-year-old church bell at centre of court battle
A centuries-old church bell is at in a court case controversy in Hartlepool.
The bell at All Saints Church, Stranton, was cast in 1599 and last retuned in 1907. People living near were worried a retuning would change their experience of it. However, a church court ruled the 432-year-old bell was in need of a retuning
