'THIS IS JUST THE START'
A pub in the city centre has announced plans to stay open until 3am as it launches a brand new venue space.
Run by the same team behind the Crown & Kettle pub in Ancoats, the pub initially divided opinion with its black-bricked exterior being called ‘dystopian’ and ‘sinister’, but it has been warmly welcomed by punters in such a short space of time.Before opening, the team behind the pub said they intended for each of the venue’s three floors to have a purpose by hosting live music, club nights and comedy showcases.
Situated on the first floor of the pub, the venue will open The Red Room next Thursday , which has been described as a ‘brand spanking new grassroots music venue and event space’.
