The Canalhouse, a well-liked waterfront pub on Canal Street in Nottingham city centre, has spoken out after the building it rents was placed on the market by owner Nottingham City Council
A popular Nottingham pub has promised it is "not going anywhere" despite its venue being put up for sale by the city council. .
"We have 26 years on our lease at the property - so we're not going anywhere. We will continue to fulfil our commitment to providing a warm and welcoming space for all our customers," a spokesperson said.Information supplied by auctioneer SDL Property Auctions states the pub currently pays £85,000 per year to trade from the building.
