Manchester City defender Kyle Walker is more positive about the injury situation than the medical reports are indicating
City's captain pulled up with injury during England's friendly with Brazil last month and has already been ruled out of the Premier League games with Arsenal and Aston Villa. Walker was essential to stopping Vinicius Jr during City's semi-final win over Real last year and losing him for their upcoming quarter-final with the Spanish giants would be a severe blow.
"The doctors says no but Kyle is Kyle, he has a special genetic," said Guardiola. "The doctor said to me it was quite serious, but I said Kyle is Kyle." "Every time a player leaves the pitch injured it’s very sad, not only for the player but for all of us who are there on the pitch. We want to play against the best, Walker, I always say, he’s the best defender I’ve ever faced and it’s always a very good duel.
