It could be branded a cynical money-making exercise to bring out three strips every single season, however, the release of three kits every season now gives football kit enthusiasts more chance than ever to find the next great shirt, or indeed have a laugh at the expense of some truly bad efforts. This season has seen some safe but solid home shirts, some questionable away kits and some really, really interesting third jerseys.
18. Man City third It really does seem that clubs are going big and taking risks with their third kits this year and Manchester City are no exception with their third strip being one of the wildest available. This kit is probably a bit of a grower in that the more you look the more you see, with that red detailing a nice touch that somehow ensures the garish lightning strikes don't overrun the jersey.
14. Wolves third Wolves and Castore have created something that's either going to make you love or hate it as soon as you lay eyes on it. However, its cool icy blue shimmer against that eclectic pattern makes it one of the most unique kits in the Premier League this year, also extra marks for making the crest blue. Get it here.
10. Fulham away It has a similar look to the current Inter Miami kit that Lionel Messi is wearing while tearing up the MLS. The deep pink of Fulham's is one of the stand-out efforts of the Premier League this year and it's also not the only pink strip to make this list. 6. Liverpool home Liverpool's home shirt is another that keeps it simple this season while claiming to lean heavily from the past. It's once again a pretty basic effort but the bolder red contrasted with those block white cuffs and collar does genuinely give it a throwback feel which is why it makes this list.
