The City of Enterprise said sprinklers, for the purpose of watering lawns, gardens, landscaped areas, trees, shrubs and other plants, are prohibited except on designated water-use days.
ENTERPRISE, Ala. - As spring nears and residents begin sprucing up yards and planting gardens, the Enterprise Water Department reminds residents of the city’s alternating water schedule.
In a press release from Thursday, the City of Enterprise said sprinklers, for the purpose of watering lawns, gardens, landscaped areas, trees, shrubs and other plants, are prohibited except on designated water-use days. Odd-numbered street addresses can water on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Even-numbered street addresses can water on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. No watering is allowed on Sunday.
Handheld garden hoses or small handheld watering containers may be used any day to water small areas that might need more frequent watering.
