The shelter is adding extended weekend hours May 4-5.) - The city of Mobile Animal Services Department is offering extended shelter hours this weekend in hopes of placing a large number of puppies.
This Saturday and Sunday, May 4-5, the Animal Services Department at 855 Owens Street will be open for visitations, adoptions and fostering appointments between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. This weekend, all adoption fees for approved adopters will be waived in order to address pressing capacity needs, according to city officials.Approved adopters can receive a free 4-pound bag of Natural Balance food along with a $100 gift card toward any supplies needed for their shelter pet.
