Instead of the normal annual State of the City address speech given by Tacoma Mayor Victoria Woodards, the city is trying something different this year.
Community members have been asked to share their concerns and priorities with the city on Thursday evening.
Those who want to participate are requested to stop by Silas High School from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. to submit feedback.
KOMO has asked several questions to city officials about this new format, such as: why is this being done? What are the details of future events? How will resident questions be chosen? Do residents have other chances to submit questions?
