Manchester City continued their impressive start to the Premier League season on Saturday afternoon with a hard-earned victory over Nottingham Forest.
It seemed the Blues were in for a straightforward day at the Etihad when Phil Foden and Erling Haaland had Pep Guardiola's men 2-0 up inside 14 minutes. However, a red card for Rodri shortly after the restart tested City's resolve. A solid defensive display secured the three points for City and maintained their 100 per cent start to the Premier League season.
