Clare ends their long wait for an All-Ireland hurlin title, defeating Limerick in a thrilling final. The victory marks a turning point for Clare hurling, cementing their place as a dominant force.

The five-in-a-row remains elusive in hurling as Limerick finally relinquished their grip on the Liam MacCarthy Cup this year. And while they will still be a force to be reckoned with in 2025 and may well win multiple All-Ireland s in the near future, it’s safe to say that such a history-making opportunity will not come the way of this particular group of players again.
