Strictly's Claudia Winkleman was unrecognisable in a throwback photo from 21 years ago, sporting long brown locks instead of her signature sharp fringe and smoky eyes.
Throughout her Strictly and Traitors tenure, Claudia has maintained her dramatic dark 'do, only briefly flirting with blonde highlights, a move she feels has been beneficial for her career on Strictly. The show has been embroiled in a misconduct scandal after a number of celebrities accused its pro dancers of inappropriate behaviour, leading to an apology by the BBC.
She recalled the moment she landed the role: "Danny Cohen gave me the job and phoned me up and said, 'We'd love you to do it', I said, 'Thank you so much, that is such an honour'." Claudia then revealed the peculiar instruction she was given by the BBC chief following her appointment to the glitzy dance show.
