Claudia Winkleman has shared a sweet message with Romesh Raganathan who is due to take over her slot on Radio 2 as he begins his new show on Saturday.
The presenter, 52, who announced she was leaving her programme after 15 years on air in December, wrapped her final show at the end of March as she struggled to fight back tears.
Joking, Claudia teased: 'They aren't upset, I can hear them cheering. is the funniest man alive, I cannot wait to listen to him.' During Claudia's final show last month, the star was left fighting back tears as she bid farewell to her listeners and the team. Claudia was treated to a surprise recorded message from Liam Gallagher who said: 'Hi Claudia, it's Liam Gallagher. Congratulations and thanks for all the support over the years and being a true faithful.'
She shares Jake, 20, Matilda, 17, and Arthur, 11, with her film producer partner, Kris Thykier, 50, who she married in 2000. 'It is an absolute privilege to be here every Saturday, chatting to amazing guests, being with Sally and mainly read your fantastic messages.
