Cleo, a 4-year-old German Shepherd and Alaskan Husky mix, has been at the Fairbanks Animal Shelter since March 20. She is calm, sweet, and well-behaved, and gets along well with people of all ages and other animals. If interested, please contact the shelter.
FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Much like her namesake the Egyptian ruler, Cleo is as calm and sedate as a queen!
Cleo is a 4-year-old, spayed female German Shepherd and Alaskan Husky mixed breed who has been at the Fairbanks Animal Shelter looking for her perfect new home since March 20. Shelter staff say that Cleo has been very calm and sweet towards them, and even walks wonderfully on a leash. In her last home Cleo was said to be kennel trained as well as house-broken, and she has done a good job of keeping her kennel accident-free at the shelter.
She was said to do great with people of all ages including babies and children. However Cleo did nip at the baby who climbed into her crate in her last home, so she does need people to respect her space. She does well with other animals as well, both in her previous home and at the shelter.
