A new Fab Lab is being unveiled Wednesday at East Technical High School, sponsored by the Cleveland Cavaliers and Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company.
CLEVELAND, Ohio -
The Cleveland Metropolitan School District worked to create a lab that will help support the advancement of innovative hands-on technical education and entrepreneurship, officials say. Laser cutters, electric plotters, 3D printers and CNC routers will all be available to staff and students to make prototypes and projects, officials say.
The lab will also allow students to design, fabricate, produce and sell East Tech merch including clothing, shoes, keychains, stickers, water bottles and more.
