The French youth international is set to leave the San Siro as a free agent this summer.
Rangers are reportedly on the brink of signing Clinton Nsiala as the defender prepares to leave AC Milan at the end of his contract.
The France youth international has made just one first-team appearance for Milan but has impressed for the youth side - with Foot Mercato claiming that German duo Hamburg and Stuttgart and also Italian clubs Monza and Empoli were all in the race to sign the prospect. However, Rangers are said to have been "one step ahead" having scouted Nsiala "on numerous occasions".
