Most parts of the country are expected to experience cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms caused by weather systems, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said on Sunday, Jan. 1.
Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms may occur in these areas, PAGASA warned.Cloudy skies with rains caused by the northeast monsoon are expected in Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Kalinga, Ifugao, Mountain Province, Aurora, and the northern portion of Quezon.
