Brugge make Struijk decision Beligan outfit Club Brugge have opted against a late move for Leeds United defender Pascal Struijk, according to reports in Europe. Having finished fourth in the Belgian Pro League last season, they were looking to strengthen their defensive unit, and had reportedly identified Struijk as an option.
“Club Brugge closes its summer after signing Hugo Vetlesen, Philip Zinckernagel, Michal Skoras, Victor Barbera, Nordin Jackers, Maxim De Cuyper and Igor Thiago," a club statement said. "In addition, Joel Ordonez , Kyriani Sabbe and Chemsdine Talbi were permanently promoted to the first team." The youngster has joined Boro for the remainder of the season, and former Manchester United midfielder is keen to work with the former Sunderland and Arsenal man.
