Well done WatfordSC on some fine performances at the championships
Members of Watford Swimming Club produced some fine pool performances to return from the East Region Long Course Championships with a host of medals and personal best times.
Leading the charge was Matt Aldred who bagged a hat-trick of medals, claiming a golden double in the 50m butterfly and 100m butterfly, and adding a bronze in the 200m butterfly. Cailin Hehir won silver in the 1500m freestyle, while bronze medals went to Ben Taggart in the 50m breaststroke and Constantine Calliafas in the 800m freestyle.
