Blackbirds, slow knitters, a ruined maid and a tightrope walker... Wellington Evening Townswomen’s Guild members provided the unusual and amusing entertainment at their Guild’s Christmas party. Laughter friendship and good food brought the Guild’s busy year to an end.
During December members visited Worcester Christmas market, the National Carol Service in Chesterfield, and held a Christmas Fayre in Wellington Methodist Church. The Munch club attended their Christmas lunch at The Queens at Horton.
Guild meetings will resume on Tuesday, 14 January, when Joy Clayton will entertain members with a reminder of last year's activities. Meetings will then revert back to the first Tuesday of the month at 7pm in the Belmont Hall Wellington.
