Two women in Chester, England, have been sentenced to suspended prison terms after attacking a woman in a bar, leaving her with a permanent scar.
A 25-year-old woman named Darcy Mossman sustained a 3cm cut on her forehead and a permanent scar after two women, Ffion Dutton and Katie Roberts, both aged 29, attacked her in Chester city center. The attack occurred when Mossman was walking by a bar, and Roberts punched her twice, knocking her to the ground. Dutton then approached and threw a glass at Mossman while she was still on the floor. Mossman was taken to the hospital, where the gash was glued up.
In a victim impact statement, Mossman stated that the scarring has significantly impacted her confidence, making her more reserved and withdrawn. Dutton and Roberts received suspended sentences, with Dutton also ordered to complete 25 days of rehabilitation and 150 hours of unpaid work. Judge Patrick Thompson characterized the attack as two women acting as bullies against a lone woman
