CNN Philippines has received the 2023 SKAL International Tourism Award for Media in recognition of its contributions to the country's travel and tourism industry.
Joe Carlos, the network's assistant vice president for News, accepted the award during the ceremony on Thursday at the SMX Aura Convention Center.
It also cited the network's commitment to top-tier journalism and accessibility through multiple platforms. Frasco said during her remarks that the Philippines is well on its way to becoming a tourism powerhouse in Asia, noting that around 4.3 million visitors have arrived in the country from January to September this year.
