A haul of cigarettes and a safe containing cash were stolen from a Co-op store. The break-in, which occurred at the Co-op, on Station Road in Ainsdale , happened at some point between 10.30pm last night and 5.50am this morning . It was reported that cigarettes and a safe containing cash had been stolen from the supermarket. A police investigation into the incident is ongoing and detectives are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
