John Mac Oscar has been running the post office at Falls’ shop in Derrylaughan and been working as a postmaster for the last thirty years
A representative from the Post Office visited John this week to hand over a community service award for his long service to the local area.John told MyTyrone he still enjoys the job and wouldn’t be doing it every day otherwise.“People say to me that I should be putting my feet up now but that’s not on the radar for the time being.“It gets you up and out and meeting people which is the best part of the job.
