Emergency Services were called to Carnbroe Road in the Carnbroe area of the town at around 12.25am on Monday, August 5, following reports a car had struck a pedestrian. A 42-year-old man was rushed to hospital for treatment.
The nature of his injuries and his condition is currently unknown. Police are now searching for the driver of a white Kia Ceed in connection with the incident.
