Young Cast of Cobra Kai during season 6 interview
Summary While their senseis may be finally on even ground, the students of Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang have a long road ahead of them in Cobra Kai season 6. The past five seasons of the Karate Kid sequel show have seen various teens in the San Fernando Valley studying under the tutelage of both William Zabka's Johnny Lawrence, who teaches the offense-first style he learned in the past, and Ralph Macchio's Daniel LaRusso, who utilizes the defensive-focused Miyagi-Do.
Alongside Macchio and Zabka, the ensemble Cobra Kai season 6 part 1 cast sees the returns of Courtney Henggeler, Xolo Maridueña, Tanner Buchanan, Mary Mouser, Jacob Bertrand, Peyton List, Dallas Dupree Young, Vanessa Rubio, Martin Kove, Gianni DeCenzo, Yuji Okumoto, and Alicia Hannah-Kim.
Peyton List: It's a little more heartbreaking after building these relationships in the beginning of season 6, and finally being at the Miyagi dojo, and being in the backyard, and feeling like there's a sense of support. It's much more heartbreaking as the season goes on. Tanner Buchanan: I don't know if it's really stirring the pot. We've worked through a lot of our stuff, and I think both characters, whatever may happen, are kind of in it, even though they both are working really hard for something that they love. I think they do know ultimately, in the end, that whoever is best is best for this specific thing. At least for my character, in my mind, I don't know if it's different for you.
