Coca-Cola sales go flat plummeting almost 30% during coronavirus pandemic
AMERICAN soft drink giant Coca-Cola's nets sales have fallen to 28 percent year-over-year during the coronavirus pandemic.
The $7.2 billion revenue represented the worst decline in the firm's history since at least 1990, according toCoke also reported their fiscal second-quarter net income of $1.78 billion was down from $2.61 billion a year earlier. Volume trends sequentially improved throughout the quarter as more countries started to open up, Chief Executive James Quincey said.
