Despite his massive popularity, Coco Martin does not feel like he has what it takes to become a politician, saying that public service is not really his forte.
Martin said that he doesn’t have the qualities of a public servant, and would rather campaign for someone who he believes in.
He said that at present he wants to engage in activities that would develop his artistry, be it as an actor or in directing. “Hinahanap ko kung saan mas made-develop pa ang sarili ko, kung saan ako mas makakapag-explore pa. Nu’ng nakita ko po siya, hindi man ako nakapag-aral talaga sa mundong ginagalawan ko, sa creative, sa pagdidirek o sa pag-arte, pero nakita ko na may talent ako dito kahit papaano. Kaya dito ko talaga binubuhos ‘yung pagod, lakas at talino. Para sa akin, ito ang mahal ko. Dito ako masaya kahit pagod na pagod ako,” he said.
