Coleen Nolan has confessed she that she would sign up to Strictly Come Dancing but only to "lose weight". And to become embroiled in a love scandal. The 59-year-old presenter plans to follow in the footsteps of the likes of Ruth Langsford and Christine Lampard. Discussing the infamous Strictly curse that has seen many contestants sign up for the show and their relationships off screen break down after finding love with their professional partner Coleen was asked if she would "worry" about that happening, after Kaye Adams put forward the question.
She joked "I would be worried if that didn't happen", which left her co-stars Katie Piper and Brenda Edwards giggling. "The only reason I am signing up is to lose weight and a Strictly curse," she continued.The ITV star went on to say, "Otherwise I am not doing it". Brenda, 55, was chimed in and added: "The Strictly curse wouldn't even affect me because I am single. That's probably why I don't even get asked".
The women discussed the effects of the curses and how it would affect them if they joined the next season of the popular BBC show. Brenda went on to say she would no doubt be seen "rubbing up on the rumba", which saw Katie's, 40, jaw drop.
