Wayne Rooney takes charge of his first competitive Plymouth game today.
Coleen Rooney has made a big decision as her husband Wayne Rooney begins his gig at Plymouth Argyle ahead of their Championship opener.It will be his first managerial role since he was sacked by Birmingham City at the start of the year after a disappointing spell of less than three months.Rooney, who has also managed Derby County and DC United, revealed the 'hunger' to get back into management was 'huge' as he jumped at the Plymouth opportunity.
"I looked at things I have done well, things that I didn't do so well. I had the chance to get some personal feedback and I spoke to many different people within the game. It was really helpful having that time but the hunger to get back in was huge."The 38-year-old added: "I'm not someone who can sit at home. I've got four young children but I've got that desire I want to be great. I had a really good playing career.
