EXCLUSIVE: WAGs Victoria Beckham and Coleen Rooney have both been through public dramas in their marriages to their footballer husbands and offered each support over the years
Two decades after Victoria Beckham was rocked by allegations of her husband’s rumoured affair with personal assistant Rebecca Loos, she and David have finally opened up about the damage the allegations caused.
They continued, “What goes around comes around in terms of support, and Coleen and Victoria have been there for each other at various times over the years. They’ve seen what each other has been through and handled it really well. After the story broke, the footballer released a single statement, describing the affair allegations as “ludicrous”, adding that he was “very happily married” with “a wonderful wife and two very special kids”.
“Obviously it’s different scenarios, but they were two of the top WAGs at the time the stories broke and they really went through it. The world’s press was writing about it,” said our source. While the Beckhams, who are parents to Brooklyn, 24, Romeo, 21, Cruz, 18, and 12-year old Harper, don’t name Rebecca or confirm the cheating allegations were true in the Netflix series, Victoria tearfully admits the stories took a serious toll on her and her marriage. They have always denied the allegations.
