A college student was allegedly raped by an unidentified man at a vacant lot inside the University of the Philippines Diliman campus in Quezon City, the police said on Tuesday. | FArgosinoINQ
According to the Quezon City Police District , the victim was reportedly approached by a man armed with a bladed weapon and raped her at a vacant lot near a baseball field along Yllana St.After the incident, the student sought the assistance of UP Diliman Police personnel, who brought her to the Crime Laboratory at Camp Crame and turned over the case to Anonas Police Station.
QCPD said it is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the alleged rape incident through a follow operation in coordination with the UPDP and will check CCTV footage installed in five locations within the area.
